I live in BRAIN-ROT CENTRAL. I feel like I can teach a class about Gen Z slang. I spend a DISGUSTING amount of time scrolling through Instagram reels building my explore feed BRICK by BRICK. However, I do believe that no matter where we are or what we’re doing, we’re always learning. Thanks to Instagram reels, my vernacular for Gen Z vocabulary keeps evolving after every reel. Not only I know the full Skibidi Toilet lore, but I know many obscure memes such as the story behind “Fanum Tax” and the contrast between “looksmaxxing” and “mogging”.

I feel as if this “skill” I’ve obtained may be useful in my journey as a teacher…

I mean, if you really think about it, they tell the same story: our education system is broken, and there are better ways.

Both movies challenge the tradition education system, demand student empowerment and push for adaptive learning environments. “Accepted” is the same movie at “Most Likely to Succeed” but with an ounce of toilet humour.
